Avon Ohio Privacy Fence project was built in 2002 using Chesterfield style privacy fence gives a rich look. As an alternative to wood fence projects, vinyl privacy fence requires no painting or staining. It will not rot, warp or splinter. Chesterfield is maintenance free and has more colour options than any other privacy fence styles.
For this 1500 feet fence project we contacted fence contractor in Cleveland who suggested us to use 8" thick x 7" wide vinyl vertical sections. These vinyl sections are tongue and grooved on the edges so one board fits into the next. This is the safest and best way to assure a no-gap appearance over the years, when mother nature shifts the ground around and tries to rake the panels. When this happens, the shifting of sections without the tongue and grooved feature would reveal cracks between the verticals. It also, like most other styles, has a steel bottom reinforcing rail that fits inside the vinyl rail. We feel this design is one of the best currently available among vinyl fence manufacturers for these reasons. Solid fences will catch a lot of wind. With the precautions built into this style and the proper installation of the posts according to the installation manual, this fence will outlast most against the forces of nature.
For Posts we used a combination of Line posts, corner posts and end posts with Flat external caps.Since accents were available with chesterfield we evaluated both Victorian and lattice options and we finalised Victorian accent which gave a traditional look for the fence project. This project required gate widths to be kept to a minimum. A typically 3' wide gates which was sufficient for push mowers was installed for this project. This was an economy fence project which fitted our budget and options.it’s exceptionally durable and easy to maintain also. |
